2026/10/10· 温哥华慈明静心学堂

慈明心育成长沙龙｜从看见行为，到理解内心

2026年9月26日周六晚上18:00，学堂举办了以“新学期，身心学业都更好”为主题的心育成长沙龙，特别邀请在温哥华拥有20多年教育经验的周老师，与近15位参与者共同探讨亲子沟通、心理需求与成长陪伴。当天，既有正在读12年级的青少年，也有孩子已经步入职场的妈妈。不同年龄、不同人生阶段的朋友，带着各自的关注与困惑相聚慈明，开启了一场从认识自己到理解家人的成长探索。周老师通过不断的互动与提问，引导大家从熟悉的家庭生活场景出发，尝试转换视角，从关注家人的外在行为，逐渐深入思考行为背后的情绪与心理需求。真正的陪伴，不是替孩子安排好每一步，而是在理解与尊重中，帮助孩子认识自己、发现方向、建立内在动力。心育不仅关乎孩子的成长，也关乎父母在陪伴中不断觉察与成长。近两个小时的沙龙，现场互动积极、气氛热烈。活动结束后，大家仍意犹未尽，纷纷留下来继续交流育儿中的困惑与思考，并期待下一次相聚。慈明静心学堂希望将东方智慧中的觉察、慈悲、理解与尊重融入现代家庭教育，让更多家庭在交流中增进理解，在陪伴中共同成长，不是替孩子画路线，而是陪他长出方向、动力与行动力。愿每一次真诚的看见，都成为彼此理解与生命成长的新起点。

2026/10/9· 温哥华慈明静心学堂

慈明静心蔬食学人营｜第一期圆满开营

2026年10月7日周三上午，慈明静心蔬食学人营第一期正式开营，营员们满怀期待开启本次学习之旅。活动开场，几段短片带领大家认识慈明静心学堂、静心蔬食项目以及学人营的理念。随后营员依次自我介绍，彼此相识。在接下来四周的每周三上午，大家将相伴共学，一同探索蔬食之道，开启成长新旅程。首次课程包含慈心烹饪、栗子焖饭实操、《重新认识素食》导读与正念为食体验。项目主事心琮为大家清晰讲解烹饪的心法与实操技法。营员们热情投入动手实践，共同制作栗子焖饭。护持义工净莹、玥彤、真霑在后厨细心备妥一人食套餐。课程尾声，众人一同感受正念为食，在一餐饭中觉察当下。首次课程结束后，不少营员回到家中，便动手实践当日学到的菜谱，并在社群分享成果。大家对蔬食学习满怀热忱，期待下周三再次相聚学习。

EnglishHuiguang Mindful Academy opens larger Oakville space as membership grows

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, the Huiguang Mindful Academy held an opening ceremony for its new location in Oakville. This Mindful Peace Academy is a community space for mindfulness practice and study, established in the local community under the authorization of Mindful Peace International. Two years ago, in 2024, the Oakville space (old location) opened; since then, they have been dedicated to integrating the wisdom of Eastern meditation with modern living, offering a sanctuary for the heart amid city life. It is a welcoming space to calm the body, settle the mind, and find inner peace. In the academy, you can join meditation and mindfulness sessions, meet fellow practitioners on the path, and explore mindfulness activities like Dhyana Tea and Tai Chi Mindfulness Ball, etc. Over the past two years, as membership has continued to grow, the need arose to move to a larger, new location. Oakville Mayor Rob Burton, Ward 7 town and regional councillor Nav Nanda, and Ward 7 town councillor Dr. Scott Xie attended the ceremony and offered their sincere congratulations on this wonderful milestone, although all three are currently busy with their re-election campaigns. The mayor said that Oakville is an international village, rich in cultural diversity and committed to education. The fact that Huiguang Academy has chosen to establish itself in Oakville aligns perfectly with our town’s cultural character. "What stood out most to me was the welcoming atmosphere and the genuine passion for bringing mindfulness, wellness, and peace into our community," Councillor Nanda said. "I’m excited to see the positive difference the Academy will make in the lives of so many." Scott Xie shared, “May the Centre continue to be a welcoming place for mindfulness, peace, learning, and community connection. Thank you for the warm invitation and hospitality, and best wishes to the Mindful Peace Academy and Huiguang Centre for many successful years ahead”. Mindful Peace International is a global nonprofit registered in Zurich, Switzerland, dedicated to sharing the rich traditions of Buddhism and Chan-inspired living across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Oceania. The Huiguang Mindful Academy is one of MPI’s local extensions into the Oakville community, rooted in Oakville, but offering a way to connect with the world.
